OVCA Summer Camp

Summer CAMP is open to all current OVCA students and Ocean View Community members.

This is one Summer CAMP you do NOT want to miss!

Summer Camp Kids

Campers can register for an individual or multiple session(s). Open Monday — Friday, 6am — 6pm

Summer Camp will consist of 3 sessions: June, July and August.

Each session will have sub-themes every week. Summer camp is open to all students who are rising 1st - 6th graders (or ages 5 through 12). All students are welcome, even if you do not attend our Academy during the school year.

*Discount provided for Siblings or Retired/Active-Duty Military

Summer camp will be billed per Session at the beginning of each month.

Camp is reserved and charged by the sessions enrolled on the application, not attendance.

Summer Camp Sessions

We will divide up our summer camp this year into 3 sessions as follows:

  • Session One: June 9th — June 27th
    Three-week session ($705) Payment due on or before June 6th
    (No Camp on June 19th - Juneteenth)
  • Session Two: June 30th — July 27th
    Four-week session ($940) Payment due on or before June 27th
    (No Camp on July 4th - Independence Day)
  • Session Three: July 28th — August 15th
    Three-week session ($705) Payment due on or before July 25th
  • Full Summer Camp Participation: $2,350
  • Full Summer Camp: Summer Camp will be 10 weeks this summer
  • Registration Fee: This form requires a $165 registration fee per student at the time of submission.

[OV] Christian Terms & Agreements

By signing in the box below, you are indicating that all the information on this form is true and accurate, to the best of your knowledge. You also agree to pay the aforementioned tuition rates, on the agreed schedule, as tuition is charged by weeks enrolled not attendance. All payments are billed on the 15th and are due prior to the session starting. Late payments will be charged a $35 late fee. Pickup by 6pm daily is required, we charge $10.00 for the first 5 minutes then $1 for each additional minute after 6:05pm. If you are continuously late, care may be suspended. If we are unsuccessful in contacting you, or any listed contact person, by 6:30pm Child Protective Services will be called to pick up your child. Delinquent accounts are subject to dismissal. Notice of schedule changes (weeks registered) or removal of a child from contracted weeks, must be submitted, in writing, two (2) weeks in advance of withdrawal date. Without prior notice you will be billed for weeks specified in your registration/contract form. Your registration fee will be collected at the submission of this form and you will be billed for the sessions indicated on your submission.

Photo Consent

By selecting an option below you either grant or deny permission for your child to be photographed during their participation in summer camp at [OV] Christian Academy; thereby, also, giving consent for said photographs to be used for advertisement of Ocean View Christian Academy's summer camp program.

Agreements and Acknowledgements

I/we agree to receive email invoicing and pay Ocean View Christian Academy, Inc. according to the rates and terms stated on this registration form.

I/we agree to adhere to the policies laid out in the family handbook, including the Statement of Faith, Honor Code and the Student Code of Conduct found therein, as provided upon initial enrollment and reviewed updates as necessary on the Ocean View Christian Academy website.

I/we understand that Ocean View Christian Academy does not allow its facilities to be used or allow continued enrollment by students who exhibit or promote behavior or lifestyles that contradicts the school’s faith as contained in the “OVCA Statement of Faith”.

I/we have read and agree to abide by the Statement of Faith of Ocean View Christian Academy, as amended from time to time.

Field Trip Permission (walking trips only)

By signing below, I hereby grant permission for my child to attend weekly walks around the school neighborhood, walking trips to the Norfolk Public Library in Ocean View and walks to Ocean View Beach Park/Community Beach Park during their participation in Summer Camp. I release Ocean View Christian Academy, Inc. and Ocean View Church, Inc. from any liability that may arise in conjunction with any field trip or event. Field trips will only take place in accordance with rules and regulations as directed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, the City of Norfolk and Ocean View Christian Academy, Inc.
